School contest
The Climate Change Olympics, organized by the team of the Communication Plan of the AMAL Intermunicipal Plan for Adaptation to Climate Change, are addressed to students of primary and secondary education, or equivalent, attending schools in the Algarve.
This contest, which main objective is to captivate the youngsters for the importance of the theme and to promote action and reflection in this context, is developed through two different phases.
In the first phase, the groups had to respond to a theoretical test.
The engagement of the Algarve schools to this initiative was FANTASTIC, with over 80 entries and 360 students and teachers involved in the first phase!
All groups were cleared for the second phase that is taking place now.
In this phase the groups will have to present a short video (max. 2 minutes) on Climate Change.
This is an opportunity for groups to explore together a current topic of great relevance and decide the best way to communicate it creatively!
